1. Dimensional accuracy
The conformity and degree of tolerance between the actual working dimensions of the processed parts and the dimensions of the parts.
Dimensional accuracy is controlled by dimensional tolerances. Dimensional tolerance is the allowable variation in the dimensions of a part during the cutting process. When the basic dimensions are the same, the smaller the dimensional tolerance, the higher the dimensional accuracy.
2. Shape accuracy
The degree of overlap between the actual geometric shape of the machined part surface and the ideal geometric shape. There are six criteria for evaluating shape accuracy, such as straightness, flatness, roundness, cylindricity, and line profile. The shape accuracy is controlled by the shape tolerance.
